it begins...

This blog has been 6 months in the making, with me telling my bff that I was going to do it on the daily basically, and of course never getting around to it.Well here it is! Despite my limited computer skills, I'm givin it a go.

Background: I'm a 35 year old lady who reads a ridiculous amount of beauty blogs to gain insight into products I need to own before I buy. I have always been a careful shopper, my entire life, touching, feeling, smelling and asking around before I take the plunge. I read tons of beauty blogs, but I don't feel like I relate to the many flawless faced, cellulite free young women on YouTube, no hatin', I love..lurve...those girls, we just have different issue, needs, and wants. I want products to make my skin look like I'm 25 as opposed to just naturally looking that way.

I can't be the only person out there looking for affordable fashion, makeup bits and lifestyle for a slightly more mature audience?

 Ohhhh, and I live in a small rural town in Canada, so I get what I can locally (to support local small businesses) and order everything else online. Have you ever sourced out Canadian online retailers?I'm basically an expert at online shopping. I'm on a first name basis at my local Post office.
