This or That: Sunday Riley Tranquility Cleansing Balm versus Eve Lom Cleanser

My dry, sensitized skin is always looking for a creamy cleanser to tackle the job of removing the day while not sucking the life out of my skin. As I have spoke about in my previous posts, I never actually washed my face at night until the past few years, and now it is a staple in my face routine. A few nights a year, in a drunkin stupor, will I fall asleep with a full face of makeup, usually with my BFF by my side, waking up, ready to rock breakfast!

I started in the world of balm cleansers with the natural brand One Love Organics, using their Skin Saviour Multi Tasking Wonder Balm. In my efforts to find something more miraculous, I stumbled upon the 2 balms that I am going to be reviewing today: Sunday Riley Tranquility Cleansing Balm and Eve Lom Cleanser.

Blue Moon Tranquility Cleansing Balm versus Eve Lom Cleanser

Sunday Riley Cleansing Balm is a typical balm cleanser consistency with a gorgeous blue hue which of course this brand attributes to their use of Blue Tansy. I am a fan of blue tansy products related strictly to my love for May Lindstrom Blue Cocoon. That shit is so fantastic that it convinced me that Blue Tansy is in fact unicorn blood and I wish to slather it on my aging face and body. Supposedly, Blue Tansy has ANTI properties such as antibacterial, antihistamine and anti-inflammatory which acts to calm skin. Um...maybe? It is my jam anyway.

Sunday Riley Blue Moon has a thicker consistency which made me have to dig my fingers into the pot to remove a chunk of product in order to emulsify in the hand.

Blue Moon colour and consistency. see chunk remaining

The packing is a plastic pot with golden writing which has a nice look to it in general. Blue Moon has a faint citrus (tangerine and sweet orange oil), light aroma which people who are smell sensitive, I feel, this would be a great option. Coconut oil, Cocoa Butters and Moringa Oil appear to be the softening, makeup removing ingredients. You require a separate warm cloth of your choosing to remove this balm, it does not transform into any kind of milky cleanser if you introduce water. I found this cleanser to do an adequate job of removing my makeup and providing moisture to the skin but certainly was just a standard make up removing cleanser, nothing amazing happened to my skin besides just the act of washing my face at night became routine.

Sunday Riley Blue Moon Tranquility Cleansing Balm

In Canada, Sephora sells this cleanser for $63.00 for 3.5 oz's. It has lasted me 4 months with daily use, in my world, that is good value.

Eve Lom Cleanser is said to be the best cleanser in the entire world, really "someone", I believe Vogue Magazine, actually said that, so I had to give it a whirl. The packaging is all white with gold writing which is seriously right up my alley these days. White, gold, marble...are you kidding me.

Eve Lom Cleanser

Consistency of this balm is soft, like soft butter, which allows you to scoop a small amount and emulsify in the hand easily prior to spreading on yo face. This medicinal smell that everyone speaks/complains of is cloves. I do not find it offensive, rather, I can appreciate that clove, eucalyptus are some of the oils that contribute to this balms ANTI properties. This balm also comes with a muslim cloth that I believe is an essential component to balm cleansers amazing ability. The muslim cloth has the perfect consistency resulting in not only cleansing, but softly exfoliating the skin. I don't know if you can tell, but I am a huge fan of the Eve Lom Cleanser and it hands down won this competition. It is a pricey little cleanser, coming in at $58.00 for 1.6 oz including the handy little muslim cloth. This is my second tub of the Eve Lom Cleanser and 1.6 oz lasts me around 3.5 months of daily night cleansing. Next time I will purchases the large 3.3oz as it retails for $92.00. Of course, Sephora VIB sale time and this shiz is all sold out in the large sizes.

What other Balm cleansers are you loving??

2015 Favorites

2015 Favorites

WhaBam! There they are. My favourite products of 2015. Yearly favourites videos and posts are my favourite. ha. It gives me the low down of the best of the best so I can choose what to buy or not to buy. I take these bitches seriously people, I trust them with my money and my time...my main You Tube besties this year included Hey Claire, Estee Lalonde,Vivianna Does Makeup, LisaLisa D1, BeautywithEmilyFox, Allana Davidson, MakeupbyCheryl, Kathleenlights, JaclynHill, and Tati. I do not choose what I like based on them, rather if they loved it, I might think about trying it. Of course all my opinions are my own, based on how the product works on my 35 year old dry, sensitive skin. Soo let's get this party started.

Body Care

Palmers Cocoa Butter

I use a shit ton of lotion. Seriously, my body skin is scaly and dry. I bath everyday...every fucking day, which unfortunetly dries out my skin, but I just don't feel awake if I'm not clean. This Palmers Cocoa Butter is cheap and adequately moisturizes my body. It smells like cocoa butter and as far as I am concerned you can't go wrong. I buy mine from my local walmart for $7.99 for 400ml sometimes less depending on sales. If I'm super dry, I add in something like The Body Shop Body Butter in coconut which has been a favourite for years.

Face Care

One Love Skin Saviour Balm, May Lindstrom Youth Dew & Blue Cocoon, Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Balance

In 2015, I started cleansing with a beauty balm every night. I like them a lot . The routine of slathering ointment on my face, massaging in and wiping with a hot cloth is really soothing to me. It convinced me to actually wash my face at night which is a new concept. I have almost used the entire jar of this One Love Skin Saviour and it has done of the job of cleansing without drying my skin. I plan to try various other balm cleansers in 2016 but this year I exclusively used this one. It is available in Canada from some of my favourite natural retailers: freshfaced.ca , thedetoxmarket.ca , clementinefields.ca, ecodivabeauty.com ranging in price from $62.00-$95.00 CND based on size and which store you place your order from.

May Lindstrom products...I just can't say enough about these luxurious oils. The are fucking expensive., that is one thing I will say confidently....like wowza expensive, but you get what you pay for. I have tried other oils which many bloggers love like Sunday Riley Luna and Khiels Midnight Recovery but still think May Lindstrom's are better. I use the Youth Dew as my summer moisturizer and in the winter as a serum underneath the Dermalogica Intensive Moisturizer. I use the Blue Cocoon as my night moisturizer and I love it. The smell, the feel, everything. That Blue Cocoon is amazing stuff. I received it as a gift but will repurchase although I feel it will last for 2016 as well. I might try a different moisturizer all together this year, the Dermalogica Super Rich but will keep you posted on that front. May Lindstrom products are available in Canada from Clementinefields.ca and the detoxmarket.ca. The Youth Dew retails in Canada for $150.00 and the Blue Cocoon is $200.00. Dermalogica is an excellent brand of skin care, available from many retailers in Canada, for my sensitive skin. I use Intensive Moisturize Balance daily. It is priced at $82.00 for 100ml.

Bioderma Moisturizing Toning Lotion
I can't not tone. I need that step between cleansing and moisturizing. My day is not right if I do not tone. This toner is perfect for a dry gal like myself. I feel balanced and ready for my moisturizer. I received this in my Luxe Box and it has replaced my other Dermalogica toners for now. I haven't actually tried to purchase it anywhere yet but I will repurchase once this bottle in done. I have seen the regular Bioderma at Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada and it was priced in the $20's for 250ml.

Foundations

Too Faced Born This Way

Too Faced Born This Way... amazing dry skin foundation. It is luminous and looks like skin. I did a review on this already so if you want the full review check out my previous posts. I purchased at Sephora.ca for $49.00.

L'Oreal True Match Lumi W5
Beautiful drug store offering. Again, a dry skin gals dream. Radiant finish, perfect summer coverage and cheaper than Sephora or other high end retailers. I am currently testing the new cushion version as this one was soo good.

Lips

Clarins Instant Light 01 Rose

I have never finished a lip balm product, ever, in my entire life. I am almost done this product. I love it that much. I wear it almost everyday. It just looks like a balm on my lips but it moisturizes perfectly and the rose 01 is basically my lip colour. This is my HG lip balm. It is $23.00 at Hudson Bay and will forever be in my purse.

Contouring

Kat Von D Shade and Light Palette
Everyone seemed to love the Shade and Light Palette this year. I did love the sombre shade as well and will finish that powder for sure. It was my first introduction to contouring in 2015. I do not use the highlighting or banana powders that others seem to love. They do not look nice under my eye...dry old wrinkly skin, that's what that shit makes my under eye look like when I try to use as a setting powder. There must be a trick to it that I am not getting but that baking technique just leaves me looking like I am in desperate need of some moisturizer. For 2016, I am going to try out the Kevin Aucoin and Nyx Taupe as they are already on my shopping list and I think a single compact might be more travel friendly.

Bronzer

Hourglass Ambiant Bronzer in Radiant Light

If I had to pick my most used bronzer this year, it would have to be the Hourglass Radiant Bronze Light. It does pull a bit orange on me but overall that luminescent shimmer that the hourglass powders give off is stunning and lasts around 8 hours. If I could create my own bronzer it would be this hourglass dim light powder swirl in with a bronzer that is more like Benefit Hoola. That would be significant, and I am praying to baby jesus that hourglass will hear my pleas. Create this..it will sell.

Cheeks

Stila Convertible Lip & Cheek Palette

I love cream blushes so this was a winner in 2015. So many colours, so versatile. Creamy and long lasting cheek colour. I don't think you can even buy this anymore so sorry, but if they come out with something like this again, grab it if you like cream blush, its a winner. I have already told you about the famed Burberry Earthy...It doesn't need anymore hype, it's just the best.

Brows

Anastasia Brown Powder in Medium
I never bothered with brows before 2015. I was a teenager in the 90's, thus, I proudly now own a set of thin, over plucked, eyebrows. I don't feel bad about it as all my best friends also have these brows, so we are in this together. A kind and helpful Sephora sales person looked at my face and said "you need some brows" and gave me a 5 minute make over. I was instantly hooked and purchased this Anastasia Brow powder in medium. It works great for a subtle, wearable brow, for the girl who doesn't have much experience with drawing on brows. I am seriously considering getting a pair of brows at a lash/brow bar in Winnipeg so stay tuned for that adventure. This brow powder is available at sephora.ca for $30.00.

Lashes

I have made no secret that Make Up For Ever Smoky Extravagant is my favourite brush/formula of Mascara in life. But this Maybelline Lash Sensation has been my most used mascara this year. It remains a wet formula, but if you don't mind wiping off the excess with your finger, then it is an excellent drug store option. Paying over $30.00 for Mascara is unnecessary when companies like Maybelline keep putting out products like this. Certainly, it is not perfect, but I would say it has been my favourite of 2015.

Face Sprays
I picked up Mac Fix + this year as I needed a spray to add some hydration and staying power to my face. This is a nice offering. I could use something a bit more hydrating and will experiment with a few others this year but for normal to dry skin, the fix plus will do exactly what it claims to refreshes, and finishes the look. It just makes everything look better. It is $26.00 for 100ml.

Thank you to everyone that came to have a look this year at my blog. I will continue to write as I also read a ton of blogs and enjoy hearing what other ladies are loving or not loving in the makeup /fashion world.

What were your favourites this year????

Best of 2015 Series: Blush

Heaven's to Pete, it's been a while since I sat down to do my own reviews. My husband said I was a shitty blogger this week because I am not paying attention to it. I work full time, get off my back. Okay, Okay, I know, I like a weekly or daily poster, problem is, that shiz gets expensive. I shop like a mo fo.. but I can't keep up with the likes of Lisa Lisa D1 or Temptalia and the only company that is sending me anything in the mail is Manitoba Hydro, MTS and Visa. And that's bills ladies and gents, not products, bills. What I can do though is post about my favourites of 2015 in a timely manner.

Blush, Blush, Blush...fuck I love me some blushers. If you read this blog, you already know that. I don't think it will ever get any better than Burberry #7 Earthy which is my favourite blush of 2015 and quite possibly, of life. Yah, I said it. Burberry Blushes are available in Canada at Sephora.ca and Hudson Bay for the not so inexpensive price of $44.00 Canadian plus applicable taxes. In my province that would be $49.72 for 0.24oz of product. But it is so beautiful that it is worth every damn penny.

Burberry Earthy Blush

As always, I must comment on the packaging. Burberry blushes come in a cream linen like textured box with "Burberry" embossed in silver. Anyone who likes the finer things in life will be able to point out that this feels classic, classy. Removing the black dust bag inside unearths a luxurious gun metal package that is weighty and substantial. Touching it leaves greasy fingerprints everywhere..ugh. A magnetic closure tightly secures the finely milled, expertly pigmented powder inside. A large mirror flanks one side of the compact and a shitty blush brush and the product itself on the other. I have never used a brush that comes with a product. I have no idea why companies like Burberry still choose to waste my money on these brushes. Leave them out, charge me $2.00 less. Shake my head.

Earthy would work on any light to medium complexion like a dream. Burberry seems to use it as a contour but that life is not for me..earthy is too pinky brown as opposed to a grey brown to act like a shadow on my face. But what this bronzeresque like blush doesn't show in the pan is how perfect it reacts on the cheeks. Like the most natural flush of color, excellent for the fall winter season with camels, blacks, greys and whites that have certainly become staples in my wardrobe.

Burberry Earthy Blush

Burberry Earthy does have a smell to it. It is a perfume smell, floral, I can't put my finger on it, fancy makeup smell. I don't like perfume, I barely wear it, it makes me nauseous. This is distinct, but dissipates entirely once on the face. I have dry sensitive skin and it does not bother me. I do not think  I would be able to handle my foundation smelling like this but a stunning blush..I will cope.

From Left to right: Pure Anada Twig, Benefit Dallas, Burberry Earthy, Mac Blush Baby

Blush addicts will know that there are similar products on the market in the blush department in terms of colour. Similar but not the same. Earthy just has a touch more brown but the untrained eye could likely get away with using Benefit Dallas which is another beautiful blush option, but not even close to Burberry Earthy in terms of quality or price point for that matter.

So there is it..best blush of 2015 Burberry Earthy.

The Mascara Showdown: Drugstore vs High End

I can already tell you that I have a favourite which has not been replaced by Maybelline The Rocket, Maybelline Lash Sensation or Covergirl The Supersizer. But the question is, are these "good enough" contenders if you do not want to spend a hundo on mascaras? Let me tell you about my mascara journey.

Make Up For Ever Smoky Extravagant is my holy grail mascara. I have never found another that compares and I have used Dior Show (which I would purchase again) and Lancome in the past. Since I watch an extreme amount of you tube videos that showcase drug store mascara offerings, I thought I would give that a go. Can a drugstore mascara offer me the lovely lengthening, thickening and no flake properties that my HG Smoky Extravagant does? Soooooo many you tubers said abso..fuckin..lutely. Me, being a believer, went out and purchased 3 drugstore recommended mascaras to try it for myself. Why wouldn't one want a mascara for $5.99 vs $32.00? Especially if they do the same friggin thing.

From Top: Maybelline Lash Sensational, Covergirl the Supersizer, Maybelline The Rocket, Make Up For Ever Smoky Extravagant

First things first, I'm going to tell you about Make Up For Ever Smoky Extravagant. You can purchase it in Canada from Sephora.ca for $28.00. Yah, $28.00 plus tax is over $30.00 for a mascara peeps. It is good stuff though. The formula itself is lengthening and thickening. It is not too wet which I really appreciate. The first couple applications from a new tube are fairly wet like any mascara but it dries out to the perfect consistency after a few uses.
Make Up For Ever Smoky Extravagant Sample Size (I need a new one!)

Besides the product in the tube.... I love the brush. I think this is the key to a good mascara and some of these drug store brand could potentially be amazing if not for the terrible plastic applicators. I have learned from this trial that I do not like plastic mascara application wands as much as I like a bristle brush. For me, It just coats the lashes better and does not leave you with a wad of gunk in your lashes which happens every single time I use a plastic wand.

Smoky Extravagant and wand...

My mascara application routine consists of curling my poker straight eyelashes with a Sheumera curler, then applying 1 coat of black mascara. Ain't no body got time for 2 at 0530 in the morning. After the single coat, I typically run my finger in an upward swiping motion along the lashes, just to remove any excess that might end up under or over the eye. As a glass wearer, glasses wearer..wearer of specks, I can tell you..there is nothing like having mascara stuck to your lenses, so this solves the problem.

Maybelline The Rocket was supposed to be my answer to the age old question of drug store vs high end.

Claire from Hey Claire uses it.....I trust her with my life. Wow ...extreme love for this youtuber.  This turned out to be the mascara I liked the least in terms of length and volume. Coloring the lashes black with not a shit ton of fall out during the day...yup, it was able to provide that. If you have long luscious lashes, you might not need any beefing up or lenthening. This might be a good option, but for me...it did not come close to measuring up to my MUFE Smoky Extravagant. You will continue to see me using it on my instagram #shannongoesshopping as I am not a makeup or money waster.

Next, I tried Maybelline Lash Sensational touted online to be be a dupe for Too Faced Better Than Sex.
Maybelline Lash Sensational

I like this Maybelline offering a bit better in terms of lengthening and thickening, as I have described on instagram it is for me "a solid drugstore mascara", but that god damn brush. If this formula had a bristle brush, I think we might have had a winner but the plastic short "bristles" applies way too much product leaving me with an eyefull. I defiantly have to use my finger to remove excess and the first few applications with a new wet mascara are, as my 2 year old niece would say, "ooo messy Shanny".

The Covergirl Supersizer is another really good drugstore offering.
Covergirl The Supersizer
The formula itself gives great length and volume, but I can't stand this shitty applicator. Again, a simple bristle fat brush would do the trick.
Take a cue from the experts in this field. What do their brushes look like...iconic.. fat.. bristles...like Dior Show, smoky extravagant, lancome...all bristle brushes. They must be on to something being the leaders in this area...or it is at least that is what I covet in a mascara.

Sooo, although I prefer to spend $5.99 on a mascara, I won't be repurchasing any drugstore mascaras in the future (except if you can give me a good reason...I hear there is a telescopic one I must try) and will stick to fat bristles from a Sephora near me.

Any mascaras you can't live without?

Too Faced Born This Way The Review

As I sit here on the sofa, with no makeup on, I am reminded  that I actually have very few foundations. L'oreal Lumi, Maybelline Better Skin (new and just trying out), Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer, Laura Mercier Mineral Powder, The Body Shop Glowing Shade BB Cream and now, Too Faced Born This Way complete my collection. Barely anyone has reviewed this foundation in the blogger world (clearly I am being sarcastic), so I  thought I would throw my thoughts out into cyberspace.

Foundation have historically been a boring subject to me. I much prefer the colour part of makeup, namely, blushes and bronzers. But since my 30's came along 5 years ago, my skin is just drier with more discolourations. It doesn't look so great bare, but I recall a time not long ago that it did look pretty darn good. As I have spoke of before, I am searching for a foundation that looks like skin, young, dewy, even skin and I think I have found that in Too Faced Born This Way.

My Deluxe Sample of Sand Too Faced Born This Way

I first sampled this foundation at Sephora Polo Park Winnipeg after getting colour matched to Light Beige. Too Face Born This Way is available in Canada at Sephora for $49.00 plus Manitoba tax= $55.37. I have not purchased a full size product yet due to not being 100% on colour but I plan to.

I did not particularly like my sample of TFBTW at first. The light beige shade, even though colour matched,  was too light for my skin. It accentuated my pores around my nose but I loved the finish on my cheeks, a dewy glow that looked just like lovely skin. I placed an online order, where you actually receive better deluxe samples, than in store.  My deluxe sample of the Sand Colour had been on my face a lot during the work week (see instagram #shannongoesshopping for daily makeup updates).

Top: Light Beige, Bottom: Sand
I love this medium coverage foundation. I either apply with my fingers, then gently tap over with the beauty blender  for a completely flawless finish. It covers any discolouration without looking chalky. The finish is slightly glowy and I tend to like it even more after a couple hours of wear. Might I use the term plasticy?? It is a moveable, pliable glow.

Maybelline Better Skin (left) Too Faced light beige (Right)

Applied with a brush, I get more coverage but I am a Beautyblender fan and feel like it is the key to beautiful application of foundations in general. I wear an oil moisturizer (May Lindstrom The Youth Dew) and I feel like this ensures I am well hydrated underneath. I would think this may be key due to it being an oil free foundation. I get absolutely no flaky, dry patch accentuation which I am prone to, especially around my nose and cheeks. I do need to be light around the centre of the eyebrows where it tends to pile up a bit leading to a small darker spot that I end up discovering sometime during the day..ugh, wtf, why don't people tell you about this shit.

I think oily people would find this slightly too dewy and it might slip around but if you have normal to dry skin, this foundation is beautiful if you can find a good colour. You will not ever see me rave about many foundations. My selections are few and done with very careful consideration. I suggest you give a sample a go for a few weeks and fall in love as I have. I will be picking up the medium beige for the winter months (sand is too dark and the light beige is too light).

Do you have any other suggestions for super dewy medium foundations I need to try?

Stila Stay All Day Bronzer for Face & Body

I still love bronzers. Now that summer is coming to a close I am not sure I want my golden glow to disappear, but it will as always living in Manitoba. I wear bronzer all year round just to warm up my pasty complexion so when I saw this massive silky soft bronzer at Sephora, I knew I had to have it for my collection. I purchased it in the prime of the summer and have been able to use it a lot over the last month for the purpose of this review.

Still Stay All Day Bronzer for Face and Body

The colour is not too warm which I feel is necessary for a naturally bronzed look, I live for slightly neutral bronzers. I should have purchased the dark shade as the medium is fairly light on me ala Hoola by Benefit Cosmetics. You cannot even see it on the back on my hand so it is a bit light for my summer skin. I did not try on in store as clearly I had lost my damn mind.

Still Stay All Day Bronzer

Stila Stay all Day Bronzer for Face and Body is available in Canada at Sephora.com for $47.00 for .53 oz's of powder. It felt finally milled and very soft to the touch in store and I was excited about the possibilities and longevity that this bronzer offered. Unfortunately, I do not find it very long wearing, maybe "Stay Half The Day" should have been the title, but I am sure that is not the catchy name that Stila was going for. Stila Stay Half the Day Bronzer for that "it looks like you are not wearing any bronzer look"...yah...no.

The packaging itself is a lovely matte gold compact with a large mirror. The size of the powder makes a large power brush swirl around with ease making application a breeze for the face or body as the product suggests. I think I would have been more satisfied with the dark shade. For skin comparison I wear Too face Born this way in Sand, a W5 in Loreal Lumi. If you are considering this bronzer, try on in store to make sure it is dark enough for your complexion before shelling out the cash.

Shows the slightly greyish tone which would be perfect on light skin ladies who love Benefit Hoola

Basically the same colour as my skin...

I will not be repurchasing this bronzer in Medium but you will still see me using it on Instagram (shannongoesshopping) as I would not let it go to waste.

Currently in my shopping cart: Too Faced Born this way full size in Sand, Burberry Earthy Glow Blush

I can't even.... Kevyn Aucoin The Celestial Bronzing Veil Tropical Nights

THIS BRONZER IS LIFE....I finally shreak as I sit here on my sofa contemplating if I am ready to tell you about the sheer joy this bronzer has brought into my life in the past month. I fucking love this bronzer. Yah...I said fuck. It's that good, sorry for my language. As you already know, bronzers are a staple items for me. I wear a bronzer everyday...every face includes a bronzer. Fevered by my  makeup obsession, I figured I would splurge. Kevyn Aucoin has never done me wrong.

Kevyn Aucoin The Celestial Bronzing Veil Tropical Nights
Kevyn Aucoin Makeup is sold in Canada at Sephora.com and I have purchased before from beautymark.ca as well,  they have free shipping over $99.00 in Canada and great customer service. I purchased the Celestial Bronzing Veil in Tropical Nights from Sephora as I needed to meet my VIB quota..needed..come on, first world issues. Sigh.. This bronzer costs......$58.00 CDN for .34 oz. yah, $58.00 plus tax in Manitoba is $65.54 for a god damn bronzer. I think it's cray cray but I knew going into this that it was a gift to myself. It's a small amount for the price but I swear it will last you forever!

Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Bronzing Veil Tropical Nights
First off, let's talk packaging for a $58.00 bronzer. This beauty came in a gold box, opened up to a small velvet sleeve which holds "my precious". The bronzer is contained in a Maroon and gold plastic container. The mechanism of opening is ridiculous..a gold bar that you press down on with a smooth glide opening. Nicest packaging of a bronzer that I own. Fact. Boom.

The bronzer itself is an ombre/gradient definitely not matte with the lightest highlight near the top and the darkest cool brown on the bottom. I love cool bronzers. When my face tans..it tans brown...not orange or copper. So cool bronzers on myself replicate and enhance my natural tan. Tropical Nights is the darkest of the 2 shades. As Sephora only sells this product online and there would be no way for me to see it in person living out here in the sticks, I had to take a chance. For a medium skin toned gal, this shade is perfection. It would be way...way too dark for my blonde fair friends and I even have to use a very, very light hand.

Tropical Nights

Tropical Nights

This bronzer is true cool perfection. It is hella pigmented, I take a mac powder brush and touch that shiz once, I mean touch once, no rubbing or swiping or I would end up blending for days. I do think that a fan brush is probably a better tool for this bronzer but I do not own a fan brush so that's that. The highlight would then hit your cheekbones and bronzer in cheek hollow. I touch more in the middle and use a separate highlighting product (Becca shimmering skin perfector in opal). I can't even tell you how beautiful this is.

Would I repurchase...holy balls... yes yes yes. This is my new favourite bronzer that is not matte.
